California law enforcement officials have recovered approximately $150,000 worth of New Balance shoes following an alleged theft from a BNSF freight rail boxcar. According to the sheriff's department, deputies intercepted a westbound vehicle on Interstate 40 after receiving reports of unauthorized individuals accessing railroad cargo containers. The driver of the vehicle fled on foot but was subsequently apprehended by officers at the scene.
